AB Heating prides itself on giving customers a professional service and high standard of work.
AB Heating can specifiy, install, repair and maintain conventional radiator heating systems as well as unvented, warm air, underfloor heating and ground source heat pump systems. As specialists in energy efficiency, AB Heating are well placed to upgrade systems with the more energy efficient condensing boilers from well known manufacturers.
With increasing gas prices, now is the time to look seriously at reducing your gas consumption. High efficiency condensing boilers have the very latest in energy efficient controls, even down to using low energy pumps.
Combining a modern condensing boiler with solar heating will reduce your gas consumption even further.
Underfloor Central Heating
With conventional central heating, the majority of heat is convected air, which rises making the ceiling one of the warmest places in the room. However, 50% of warmth generated by underfloor heating is radiant heat, which is released evenly and absorbed by people and objects in the room.
Optimum economy is achieved when used in conjunction with a condensing boiler because they perform most efficiently whilst working at lower temperatures.
Unvented Hot Water Cylinders
Unvented Hot Water Cylinders supply mains pressure hot water direct from the incoming supply and do not require a cold water storage cistern.
Unvented domestic hot water systems enable powerful mains pressure showering, faster bath filling, high tap flow rates, balanced pressure at hot and cold outlets.
Twin coil versions are designed to integrate into solar hot water systems.
There are 2 types of heat pump systems: ground source and air source, which collect energy stored in the earth or air and use it to heat water in a cylinder for distribution to taps, appliances and radiators. They can also cool the house in summer.
Ground source heat pumps either gather heat from bore holes drilled deep into the ground or use a mat of pipes trenched through the grounds of your property.
Air source heat pumps are an ideal choice where drilling or trenching is not viable, as they extract heat from the air.
